Jackie Valent has spent her career working in the Human Resources field and studying human nature. The inspiration for “Stinky the Bulldog” came from her observations of people and their reactions to superficial characteristics and diversity (that ranged from stange looks and teasing to severe bullying). She hopes that both adults and children alike realize that at times we can all forget that we are the world’s children and must respect each other regardless of what we look like or what our names are. Always remember to look deeper and NEVER TOLERATE BULLYING! You never know…you just might find a true friend in someone named Stinky.
